About Me
My name is Todd Neuman. I was born on August 12, 1970, in Yokosuka, Japan, on a navy base. When I was 10 months old I contracted encephalitis and became very sick for most of my early years. Although I recovered fully and now lead an exciting and rewarding life, my illness did leave me with physical challenges. But, being confined to a wheelchair has not slowed me down one bit.
I volunteer full-time as a teacher's aide at Loma Portal Elementary since 2001 and from 2006-2010 I helped mentor physically challenged young adults through the "What's Next" Mentoring program here in San Diego.
I love to travel and that is why I decided to launch this site. I thought it would be helpful to other physically challenged travel lovers like me to see how easy it can be to get out and get going!
There's a lot to see and experience out there so come on and join in the fun!
