 Kitchen Area

The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils, flatware, place settings and a coffee pot. There is a pass-through counter from the kitchen to the bar area complete with bar stools. As you can see in photo 6,there is also a stove with an oven and a full-size refrigerator.  In this photo, you can see the accessible controls for the entrance door.  The rectangular-shaped control is a computer that automatically activates door closure after you pass through.  The square-shaped control is an automatic door opener., you simply push it when you wish to exit the room.  The sink is high enough for you to pull your wheelchair right up under it and there is a microwave on the counter to your right.

Bathroom

In the sink area, the hair dryer is mounted to the wall and accessible from your wheelchair and there is also an accessible glass self with water glasses.  The wall-mounted sink has plenty of room to accommodate your wheelchair and allows you to pull right up under it.  (In the picture the sink appears to be too high but the photo was angled to show the space under the sink area.  It is about 3' off the ground.) The towels are easy to reach as well. The shower has a full-size roll-in shower with a grab bar, a fold down bench, and easy to reach shower controls and soap dish.  There is a rap-around curtain but you are going to need a grabber to reach it to pull it around; it is not accessible from the shower bench.  Please remember to advise the front desk when booking your reservation that you are going to need assistance at check-in to position the shower head to the proper heighth for you. The toilet is a standard ADA-compliant toilet with a grab bar and there are accessible shelves above the tank.
