The hotel restaurants & lounges are all accessible and if you feel like going somewhere else for a meal, the hotel has easy access to UTC (University Town Center"). UTC is a Westfield shopping mall and one of the larger malls in the San Diego area. It boasts lots of unique shops and many restaurants and it's right across the street.

The Room
The hotel has accessible rooms on each floor but only four of these rooms feature a roll-in shower. However, the other accessible rooms can be outfitted with swivel bath chairs upon request. Be sure to make all your special needs requests when you are booking your reservation.
There is plenty of room for a wheelchair to maneuver, a small table with a lamp and a chair. One king size bed. The closet has a low bar to hang your clothes, and the flat screen TV is on the dresser. The entry door has a wheelchair height security scope.
The Bathroom
The shower control is easy to reach, and there is an adjustable shower head. There are grab bars on the front and side walls. Please note that the front grab bar is positioned slightly to the right of the bench and does make it a little difficult to transfer to the bench from your wheelchair if you do not have adquate upper body strength and arm extension. There is a height adjustable fold-down shower bench. The toilet is ADA compliant and there are grab bars on the side and back walls. There is a phone above the toilet's grab bar on the side wall. This is a great feature, especially if you are traveling alone. The sink area includes a towel rack on the right wall with an acessible electric outlet, a glass shelf on the left wall and a towel bar in front of the sink.
